Sing together, pause, and experience connectedness
When voices unite in a church space, a special form of spiritual community emerges. The Night of Spiritual Songs 2026 invites you to the Old Neuendorfer Church in Potsdam and opens an evening filled with music, reflection, and communal singing.
Spiritual songs in a historical church atmosphere
Anke Bolz and Julia Schönleiter will create a musical evening with old and new spiritual songs and hymns from our culture. The Old Neuendorfer Church provides a protected framework where sound, silence, and collective experiences are intertwined.
Music as a faith experience and encounter
Collective singing brings people together, regardless of their personal faith practice. Simple melodies, recurring lyrics, and the acoustic atmosphere of the church space invite calmness, attentive listening, and the opportunity to perceive one's own spirituality anew.
An evening for those interested and enthusiastic about singing
The event is aimed at anyone seeking spiritual music, communal singing, and a contemplative religious experience. Prior knowledge is not required as per the published event details. The evening begins on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM and is expected to last until 9:00 PM.
Tickets and participation
The advance sale costs 17 euros. The entry at the box office is 20 euros. Tickets are available through the event page of Anke Bolz. The Old Neuendorfer Church is located at Neuendorfer Anger 1 in 14482 Potsdam.
