When spooky stories develop in the museum, children and teenagers become directors, screenwriters, and animators themselves. In the film animation workshop Your Scary Movie!, participants will create their own stop-motion scenes on October 31, 2026 – with imagination, creative ideas, and a special Halloween atmosphere.

From Scary Idea to Finished Scene

At the Brandenburg Museum of Future, Present, and History, participants will develop their own storyboard and design suitable sets. Whether it's a haunting in the carriage house or cursed objects in the museum: the event planning combines creative storytelling with practical media work.

Through playful exercises, young film enthusiasts will learn how a stop-motion film is created. No prior knowledge is required. The focus is on trying things out together, concentrated designing, and the joy of bringing their own little film world to life.
