Blue Yonder Duo: Urban Pop under the Starry Sky

On February 13, 2027, the URANIA Planetarium Potsdam transforms into a musical night landscape: The Blue Yonder Duo presents their own songs between indie pop and jazz music – an atmospheric urban pop concert under sparkling stars and floating planets.

Grooving Sound Colors and Catchy Melodies

Lilia Antico on vocals and synthesizer, along with Thomas Kiesner with vocals, guitar, and effects, combine a groovy foundation with colorful instrumentation. Their music moves between intimate singer-songwriter moments, modern pop structures, and jazzy openness. Catchy melodies meet lyrics that narrate experiences and create vibrant imagery.

Between Indie Pop, Jazz, and Cosmic Atmosphere

Blue Yonder draws inspiration from artists like Feist and Björk as well as jazz musicians like Peter Bernstein and John Scofield. These influences shape a distinctive sound, where clear voices, synthesizer layers, guitar effects, and rhythmic precision intertwine. The unusual orchestration gains an additional visual dimension in the planetarium.

Live Music in the Planetarium

The concert combines stage performance and immersive spatial effects. While the duo unfolds their songs with two-part vocals, guitar, synthesizer, and effects, the starry sky accompanies the music as a visual projection surface. The acoustics of the planetarium and the calm audience mood create a concert experience between club atmosphere, jazz lounge, and nighttime stargazing.

Those who experience indie pop with jazzy sound colors, personal lyrics, and a unique concert setting will find an extraordinary connection of closeness and vastness in the Blue Yonder Duo. The program remains small, manageable, and yet sonically multifaceted – just right for an evening where music and stars merge.
