A solid 4* for a Biergarten in the middle of almost nowhere. The food was very Zerman (but very good), the Pretzel was one of the best I’ve had, the beer is home brewed and the service was surprisingly friendly!

We came to support local brewery. This is what we got, 10€ for a green salad. ONLY green salad. When we politely ask if it was a mistake we were told this is the season variation. How one can care so little about providing decent food to his customer? Oh I forgot, there was one piece of bread..

I really debated writing this review as I dislike the hidden complaint culture, however, as a loyal customer of the restaurant beer garden for 8 years, I feel that the changes made during the winter have damaged this once great venue. I thought being dramatic, the soul has been removed and as an English man who enjoys a good pub, this is not good. It is perfectly acceptable to have canteen customer care and canteen quality food (which has suffered in quality since the reopening) but then please charge canteen prices and not restaurant prices. I hope that these changes will one day be reverted so that this once pleasant restaurant can be returned to its former glory. In the meantime, I would look elsewhere.
