As part of the International Theater Festival UNIDRAM 2026, the French performance VIOLENT can be experienced in Potsdam. The performance combines dance, clowning, circus, and singing into an extraordinary stage production at the Waschhaus Arena.
Dadaistic Poetry on Stage
VIOLENT moves between physical performance, poetic imagery, and the surprising forms of expression in theater. Dance meets clowning, circus elements combine with singing. This creates a dadaistically poetic production that interlinks various stage forms and transcends traditional genre boundaries.
The French production is part of the diverse festival program of UNIDRAM. The International Theater Festival brings different contemporary theater forms to Potsdam and creates space for unusual, cross-border performances. With VIOLENT, a performance is on the program that brings together movement, voice, humor, and circus elements in a standalone artistic format.
Venue in Schiffbauergasse
The performance takes place at the Waschhaus Arena at Schiffbauergasse 5 in Potsdam. The Waschhaus is an established cultural venue in Schiffbauergasse and provides the perfect setting for the French festival production. Visitors will experience the performance in a covered event space.
