11. Potsdam Christmas Circus: Ring free for festive magic
When the big tent on Weberplatz in Potsdam-Babelsberg is festively adorned, a stage experience full of excitement, humor, and winter magic begins. The 11. Potsdam Christmas Circus combines international acrobatics, singing, and clowning into a varied program for the whole family.
Artistic skills in the spotlight
At the center of the production is circus art: breathtaking acrobatics, precise body control, and spectacular performances turn the ring into a stage for human boundary experiences. The dramaturgy thrives on the interplay of wonder, dynamics, and cheerful moments. Each performance develops its own rhythm and leads the audience deeper into the atmosphere of the festively decorated circus tent.
A ring without wild animals
The Potsdam Christmas Circus consciously opts for a program without wild and large animals. The focus is on the extraordinary skills, creativity, and passion of the artists. Acrobatics, singing, and clowning come together in a modern circus dramaturgy that highlights diversity and variety.
Christmas atmosphere for multiple generations
Warm lighting moods, festive circus music, and the proximity to the ring create a special theater atmosphere. Between laughter, tense silence, and spontaneous audience reactions, a shared experience emerges that appeals to both children and adults. The Christmas circus sees itself as a family celebration between the years and as a Potsdam tradition that connects generations.
