On September 15, 2026, the Island Stage on Friendship Island invites you to a special Democracy Action Day. Together with the Potsdam Citizen Foundation, researchers and students from the University of Potsdam will organize a multimedia discussion and participatory event on this day. The discussion topic is: “In what kind of society do we want to live?”

At this event, visitors have the opportunity to engage actively and participate in in-depth conversations about science and society. The goal is to illuminate various perspectives and think together about the direction our society is heading and what we can all contribute.
