A Kinetic Dream Landscape in Waschhaus Potsdam

Dreamland/Territory of Dreams transforms the Waschhaus in Potsdam on November 5, 2026, into a moving dream landscape. The kinetic installation comes from the Canadian Théâtre Rude Ingénierie and is part of the renowned UNIDRAM festival.

An Installation in Motion

At the center is a kinetic work that makes the space experienceable anew through movement, shapes, and changing impressions. Instead of a classic stage narrative, the audience can expect an installation that utilizes the Waschhaus as a special experiential space. Visitors can immerse themselves in an atmosphere where art, space, and movement interconnect.

The title Dreamland/Territory of Dreams refers to its own, imaginary world. The Canadian group Théâtre Rude Ingénierie brings its artistic perspective to Potsdam. The installation invites exploration of the space with attention and engagement with the visual and moving impressions.

Part of the UNIDRAM Festival

The event takes place as part of the UNIDRAM festival, which presents international and extraordinary forms of performing arts in Potsdam. With this kinetic installation, the festival expands its program to include an experience between theater, installation, and moving spatial art.

It begins on Thursday, November 5, at 6:00 PM. Since the event takes place in the Waschhaus, it is experienceable regardless of weather conditions. Information regarding duration, ticket prices, accessibility, and parking options is not provided in this announcement. Interested parties should therefore check the current information from the organizer before attending.
