Artistic Visions of the Future in the Former Military Casino of Krampnitz

The group exhibition FUTUR is dedicated to the question of how the future can be thought, designed, and experienced. It focuses on different visions of the future and the relationships between people, institutions, technologies, and the environment. The exhibition invites visitors to examine familiar ideas of progress, coexistence, and change from new perspectives.

Artistic positions of the Parisian collective LeWonder and other participants are presented. In their works, individual viewpoints are combined with social and technological questions. It is not about a single fixed idea of tomorrow, but rather about various possibilities, tensions, and expectations associated with the future.

FUTUR in the former military casino

The exhibition takes place in the former military casino in Krampnitz. This historic location provides the spatial framework for an exhibition that deals with change and upcoming developments. The interplay of place, artistic works, and thematic focus offers visitors a unique access to the presented visions of the future.

The group exhibition looks at the interactions between technological developments, social structures, and the environment. It makes visible that the future is not created solely through innovations, but is also shaped by decisions, relationships, and institutional frameworks. Questions of responsibility, coexistence, and the possibilities of joint design thus lie in the background of the exhibition.

Artistic perspectives on upcoming changes

The contributions from LeWonder and other participants encourage visitors to think beyond their current reality. Visitors can get to know different artistic approaches and engage with the ideas that shape our view of tomorrow. FUTUR understands the future as an open space for thought and experience.
