Poetic Soundscapes: Julia Velas and Ronja Wei live in Potsdam

On Sunday, November 1, 2026, two special sound languages meet at Menuett – Music & Art Salon: the piano of pianist and composer Julia Velas and the classical guitar of Ronja Wei. The concert starts at 4:00 PM and is free of charge.

Between Silence, Depth, and Musical Movement

Julia Velas develops an intimate musical language between classical melody, minimal music, and jazz harmony. Her compositions revolve around the slow, the delicate, and the fragile. Trained at the University of the Arts Berlin, she combines precise pianistic technique with a focused, almost contemplative stage performance.

Piano and Classical Guitar in Dialogue

Ronja Wei brings the colorful sound world of the classical guitar to this chamber music afternoon. In interplay with the piano, a sensitive interplay of resonance, counterpoint, and musical synchronization emerges. Every strike, every plucked string, and every reverberation is given space.

Live Atmosphere at Menuett – Music & Art Salon

The venue on Hebbelstraße creates the right setting for an immediate concert experience. Instead of grand gestures, the closeness to the music is the focus: fine dynamics, transparent orchestration, and an audience mood that concentrates entirely on the sound.

Free Admission: Classical Music Without Barriers

Admission to this concert is free. This opens up a special access to contemporary piano music and classical guitar music – for connoisseurs as well as for everyone who wants to experience a concentrated, atmospheric concert afternoon in Potsdam.
