When shadows dance and balloons suddenly gain personality

On December 17, 2026, the community center at Schlaatz in Potsdam transforms into a poetic playroom for the youngest theater fans. My ... pffft (2+) combines dance, shadows, light, and balloons into a sensual laughter experience for children aged two and up – charming, surprising, and with just the right amount of pffft.

A small world with big surprises

A light appears. A shadow grows. A sun, a house, or a person with a balloon emerges. What begins as a simple geometric game transforms into an imaginative performance full of movement and discoveries. From hand, head, and foot, a curious shadow person is created, exploring their surroundings.

Dance, shadows, and balloons at eye level

Performers Michaela Millar and Kathleen Rappolt gently invite the audience into a world where things come to life. The piece relies on clear images, precise timing, and a calm comedy atmosphere that does without loud punchlines. The humor arises from movement, surprise, and the childlike joy of wondering together.

From daycare project to stage

My ... pffft was created in 2014 as part of the daycare project Big Jumps in Berlin-Hellersdorf. The concept was developed by Kathleen Rappolt and Aloisio Avaz together with children, the performer, and the dancer. In the current cast, Kathleen Rappolt and Michaela Millar perform and dance. The stage and costume design is by Martina Schulle, and the performance is produced by Theater o.N.

A laughter experience for the very youngest

This is not about a hectic stage show, but about concentrated audience reactions, curious looks, and the delight when a balloon suddenly becomes a character. The combination of stand-up-free movement theater, dance, and visual comedy directly engages children and also leaves adults with a smile on their way home.

Conclusion: Live wondering, laughing, and discovering together

My ... pffft (2+) awaits its visitors with shadow images, balloons, dance, and loving interaction. Those who want to experience how a whole stage world emerges from a few shapes should secure the date at the community center at Schlaatz and experience theater for the youngest up close and personal.
