Virtual Journey to the Giants of Prehistory
The Dino-VR Experience at the Biosphere Potsdam takes visitors on a digital journey into a long-lost world. Using immersive virtual reality technology, a special access to the giants of prehistory is created. The event combines modern digital possibilities with knowledge transfer about animals that are now extinct.
At the center are dinosaurs and their living environment. The virtual representation makes prehistory tangible and invites participants to engage with the massive animals and their history. Instead of a purely theoretical view, the experience offers a digital perspective that connects knowledge with visual impressions.
Dino Experience at the Biosphere Potsdam
The event venue is the Biosphere Potsdam at Georg-Hermann-Allee 99. The tropical adventure world provides the perfect setting for an event where digital technology and nature or knowledge transfer come together. The Dino-VR experience is aimed at anyone interested in dinosaurs, virtual worlds, and an unusual form of knowledge transfer.
The immersive experience allows participants to mentally escape today's everyday life and immerse themselves in a time when the well-known prehistoric giants populated the Earth. The technical implementation is not the only focus: the experience also conveys information about long-extinct animals and makes the engagement with prehistory accessible in an entertaining way.
